Please register for your child's age division below. To determine your child's age division, please look at the little league age calculator - Player Eligibility

Registration fee for the Spring 2025 season includes all Winter Clinics held weekly between December-March prior to the start of the spring season and all pitching and skills clinic held weekly between March-June during the season.

NOTE:

Little League requires everyone to re-submit their proof of age, and residency or school. You may proceed and finish checkout without submitting them, but you will need to log back in at a later time and submit these documents before we can assign your child to a team or participate in any Downtown Little League activities.
Social rostering is only applied to Baseball Junior Minors 8 & younger divisions AND Softball Minors & younger divisions.
Teams & rosters are formed via player drafts in Baseball Majors & Softball Majors divisions.

Interest Registration for the Little League World Series Tournament. Please review the information below.

KEY INFORMATION

The Little League World Series tournament is open to girls playing in Little Leagues around the world. Tournament teams are created by each league based selection of eligible players. Tournament opponents will include teams from other neighborhoods, cities, states, and potentially countries.

For those who have never played on a tournament team, this is a competitive team and is not the same as a regular season team. Position and playing time are not distributed evenly. Girls who wish to participate must be willing to listen to coaches, take practice seriously, and prioritize their schedule.

PLAYER ELIGIBLITY (MUST MEET REQUIREMENTS BELOW):

Meet Little League age & residency requirements
Players must play in at least 8 regular season games in their age division
Availability - Due to limited roster size, players must be committed and available during the full duration of the tournament, including practices & games. This mean holding off family vacation/trips, camps, and travel team obligations until the tournament is complete. For DLL teams, we minimally expect availability through the Sectional or State rounds of the tournament (dates below). DLL teams generally reach the Sectionals for most years and have gone as far as the States and Eastern Regionals in the past.
Ability - Based on feedback and evaluations from team manager/coaches across softball and from workouts. Encompasses physical skills, attendance, attitude, mindset, and takes into account how well a player will represent the values of little league and our downtown community in high pressure competitive environments.

KEY DATES

Pre 5/17 - Open workouts for girls who are interested and available for the tournament team on weeknights at either BPC Ballfield or Pier 40. These workouts will be separate from team practices and does not guarantee selection to the team.
Post 5/17 - Rosters to be finalized. Anticipate team rosters capped at 12 players.
5/22 to 5/25 - Memorial Day Tournament Fri to Mon - Tournament team players should expect to participate; some non-tournament team players may be selected to participate as well
6/10 to 6/24 - District round of tournament in Manhattan
6/25 to 7/1 - Sectional round of tournament in Westchester/Long Island/Staten Island
7/2 to 7/12- State round of tournament in upstate NY/Westchester/ Long Island

With the information above, please register your daughter if she's interested in participating with the Tournament Team. Tournament Team workouts will begin shortly.
