We are excited to invite all DLL coaches and Parents and caregivers to participate in one of our upcoming Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) workshops. PCA training is highly recommended for all coaches and is especially encouraged for new and returning managers.

10:00 AM – 11:00 AM - The Power of Positive Sports Parenting
Parents and caregivers play a vital role in fostering a positive youth sports culture. When aligned with coaches and league leadership, families can better support athletes, coaches, and the broader team community. This workshop offers practical, real-world strategies to help you contribute to a positive and welcoming sports experience for everyone involved.
These workshops are a valuable opportunity for coaches to build positive, supportive team environments while reinforcing DLL’s commitment to sportsmanship, player development, and fun. The research and experiences of great coaches across the country are clear: Positive is Powerful. These interactive workshops focus on helping coaches pursue sustained success for their athletes both on and off the field by developing competitors, building life skills, and creating strong team environments where athletes feel safe, seen, heard, and valued.

The research and experiences of great coaches across the country are clear: Positive is Powerful. These interactive workshops focus on helping coaches pursue sustained success for their athletes both on and off the field by developing competitors, building life skills, and creating strong team environments where athletes feel safe, seen, heard, and valued.
The workshops will be led by Randy Nathan (Coach Randy), President/CEO of Project NextGen and a Certified PCA Trainer. Randy is an adjunct professor at Rutgers University School of Social Work, a softball umpire, and former mental training coach for the Rutgers–Newark baseball team. He brings deep experience in character development, resilience, and teamwork.
